"Constraints Liberate, Liberties constrain".

The workshop will introduce you in the world of Functional Programming. We are going to learn about Scala, we'll try the collections, the types, the pattern matching, the typeclasses and a lot more.

We'll discuss and try concepts like immutability, function composition, concurrency, purity and higher kinded types. We'll learn how to abstract our code using functional constructs like functors and monads.

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of either: C#, Java or Javascript required
